How do I get a quote?

What is 316 Marine Grade Mesh?

ScreenGuard is made from high-tensile, 316 Marine Grade stainless steel mesh that is corrosion resistant and superior to other grades of stainless steel such as grade 304. The 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh is also coated with a specialised UV protective coating that gives it a pristine and long-lasting finish.

 

What colours are the screens available in?

ScreenGuard mesh is only available in black. However, the ScreenGuard window and door frames can be powder coated in a range of Interpon and Dulux powder coat colours.

How long is the ScreenGuard warranty?

The warranty period for ScreenGuard products is for 10 years from the date of installation and providing the product has been cared for and maintained according to care and maintenance guidelines. Click here to view Care and Maintenance Guidelines.

 

How often do I need to clean my ScreenGuard screens?

You will need to clean your ScreenGuard product on regular basis to protect against pollution and contaminants.

There are 2 ways to clean your ScreenGuard product:

  1. The preferred method for cleaning your ScreenGuard security system is to use Powawash, biodegradable detergent – click here to find out more.

  2. Use a soft bristled brush or non-abrasive cloth with Powawash and rinse with water.

What type of aluminium are your screen frames made from?

ScreenGuard is made from T6 extruded aluminium – T6 aluminium alloy, which refers to the temper or degree of hardness of the aluminium. This is a premium grade of aluminium, that has a good strength-to weight ratio and is heat-treatable.

 

Are ScreenGuard products tested for bush fire protection?

Yes ScreenGuard is bush fire rated and has been tested in accordance with Australian Standard AS3959-2009 – construction of buildings in bush fire prone areas. ScreenGuard also protects your property from floating embers and reduces heat intensity of radiant heat flux.
